Our cattle graze on 40,000 pristine acres, nourished by twenty-seven natural springs amidst a landscape of juniper, sagebrush, red dirt, and limestone cliffs. Carter Family Tradition
Since 1964, Carter Country Ranch has been a family-driven operation. Mark Johnson Carter, the ranch’s founder, moved his family to Ten Sleep, Wyoming, with a vision of harnessing the land’s potential. His son Richard’s perseverance during challenging times ensured the ranch remained in family hands.

Today, RC Carter and his wife, Annia, continue the family legacy.
